Desert Star Performing Arts Presents “Seussical the Musical” – A Whimsical Adventure for All Ages!

The Desert Star Performing Arts Department invites the community to dive into the colorful world of Dr. Seuss with their upcoming production of Seussical the Musical, taking place May 2nd–4th at the Desert Star Academy Gymnasium.

Join Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, and a host of beloved Seussian characters in a heartwarming tale that celebrates friendship, imagination, and the power of believing in the impossible. With music by Stephen Flaherty and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, this lively, family-friendly musical brings classic Dr. Seuss stories to life in a magical blend of humor and heart.

  • May 3rd & 4th at 2:00 PM

Directed by Joshua Michel, music directed by Maddisyn Myers, and choreographed by Tiffany DeSpain, this production features a talented cast of local scholars ranging from 8 to 17 years old, showcasing their hard work and creativity.
