Residential Structure Fire

On Friday, January 31, at approximately 7:25 P.M., the Kingman Fire Department received a call for service regarding a residential structure fire on the corner of Lead St. and Valley View Ave. Upon arrival, crews initiated an offensive strategy and were able to extinguish the fire immediately. The occupants of the residence were not inside when fire personnel arrived on the scene. Unfortunately, two dogs that were inside the house did not survive due to smoke inhalation. No fire personnel or civilian injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
