On Tuesday night (March 31), deputies with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office responded to a serious vehicle collision in Fort Mohave.
At approximately 11:31 PM, authorities were dispatched to the area of S. Vanderslice Rd. and E. Jamie Rd. following reports of an overturned UTV with a severely injured male driver.
Upon arrival, deputies attempted life-saving measures; however, the driver was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel. The victim has been identified as Robert Todd Hall, 57, of Fort Mohave.
During the investigation, it was determined that the UTV struck a dumpster and overturned, pinning the driver’s arm underneath the vehicle. Officials reported that the driver was not wearing a helmet or safety gear and was not buckled in at the time of the crash.
Authorities also stated that impairment is suspected to be a contributing factor.
