Gear Up for the 30th Annual Carrie Edgmon Bicycle Safety Rodeo!

Families across the Tri-State area are invited to attend the 30th Annual Carrie Edgmon Bicycle Safety Rodeo happening on Saturday, March 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Walmart – 2840 Highway 95 parking lot.

This FREE community event is designed to help children learn essential bicycle safety skills in a fun, hands-on environment.

👮‍♂️ Learn the Rules of the Road

Sponsored by the Bullhead City Police Department, Bullhead City Fire Department, Western Arizona Regional Medical Center, and Walmart, the Bike Rodeo will feature:

A specially designed safety course for kids to ride and test their skills

Officers on-site teaching important bicycle safety rules

Guidance through real-world riding scenarios

Children are encouraged to bring their own bikes to receive FREE bicycle registration.

🔧 Free Bike Inspections & Tune-Ups

Participants will receive a complimentary bicycle inspection and tune-up courtesy of CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) volunteers.

A special thank you goes out to the Bullhead City Morning Kiwanis for donating bike parts to help keep local kids riding safely.

Don’t have a bike? No problem! Loaner bikes will be available, and every participant will be entered into a drawing to win a brand-new bicycle!

🪖 Free Helmets & Proper Fittings

Safety is the top priority. Every child will receive a FREE helmet, provided by Western Arizona Regional Medical Center, and professionally fitted by Fire Department personnel.

Learning how to properly wear and buckle a helmet can help prevent serious injuries in the event of a fall or crash.
