Storage Wars” Star Darrell Sheets Dies in Lake Havasu City at 67

LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ — Darrell Sheets, best known for his role on the hit reality television series Storage Wars, has passed away at the age of 67.

Sheets, often referred to as “The Gambler,” became a fan favorite for his bold bidding style and larger-than-life personality. He appeared in over 160 episodes and was known for taking big risks that sometimes led to major payoffs.

After his time on television, Sheets made Lake Havasu City his home, where he remained active in the community.


🚔 Statement from Police

According to the Lake Havasu City Police Department, officers responded to a residence in Lake Havasu City early Wednesday morning.

In an official statement, police said:

“Officers responded to a residence where an adult male was found deceased. The death is currently under investigation. Preliminary information suggests the incident may involve a self-inflicted gunshot wound.”

Authorities have not released additional details at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
