🚨 ARREST AT ROTARY PARK – MAN ACCUSED OF ANIMAL CRUELTY & DISORDERLY CONDUCT 🚨

BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – October 8, 2025
Bullhead City Police arrested 30-year-old Erik Anthony Arenas for disorderly conduct with a dangerous instrument, cruelty to animals, and resisting arrest after a disturbing incident at Rotary Park.

On Tuesday, October 7, around 5 p.m., officers responded to the Don Sullivan Park area after receiving reports of a man abusing a puppy and swinging a machete.

Witnesses told police Arenas had been cutting tree branches with the machete and allegedly kicked his dog multiple times, causing concern among bystanders due to his erratic behavior.

When officers attempted to arrest Arenas, he resisted and struggled with police.

Fortunately, the puppy appeared unharmed and was safely taken to the Bullhead City Animal Shelter for care.
Arenas was booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
