BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – November 27, 2025 — The Bullhead City Police Department is investigating a fatal head-on collision that occurred Wednesday evening near Highway 68 and La Puerta Road.
At approximately 6 p.m. on November 26, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a serious two-vehicle crash. According to investigators, a 2006 Cadillac DTS driven by Kevin Drain, 65, of Bullhead City, was traveling westbound when it crossed into the eastbound lanes for unknown reasons. The Cadillac collided head-on with a 2017 Ram 1500 pickup truck.
Drain was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ram, a 45-year-old man, and his 21-year-old son, both from Bakersfield, California, were transported to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center, where they were treated and later released. A dog traveling in the pickup fled immediately after the crash but has since been found and reunited with its owners.
