Bullhead City Traffic Stop Leads to Major Drug and Weapons Arrest

BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – October 23, 2025 – The Bullhead City Police Department arrested Chad Henry Loftin, 42, after discovering a large quantity of illegal drugs, cash, and firearms during a traffic stop on October 22.

Around 2:20 p.m., officers pulled Loftin over near Riverside Drive and Orca Lane. During the stop, officers observed drug paraphernalia in plain sight, prompting a search of the vehicle.

Police reportedly located more than two ounces of powdered fentanyl, LSD strips, methamphetamine, counterfeit M-30 pills containing fentanyl, and marijuana — all packaged for sale. Officers also seized cash believed to be tied to drug sales, along with two firearms and ammunition.

Loftin, who is a prohibited possessor, was booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman on multiple felony charges, including:

  • Possession and sale of dangerous drugs
  • Possession and sale of narcotic drugs
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Misconduct involving weapons
  • Money laundering

The investigation remains ongoing.
