The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide after a woman was found deceased in a remote desert wash east of Kingman.
📌 On September 5, 2025, deputies responded to the area of Windmill Ranch Rd. after a reporting party discovered a large cardboard box and suspected there was a body inside. Deputies confirmed the box contained the remains of a female subject, later identified through fingerprints as 57-year-old Carolyn Ann Bosher, a transient from Las Vegas.
Another individual on scene reported seeing a vehicle parked in the area the night before, with its trunk open, but was unable to identify the vehicle due to darkness.
Detectives learned from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department that Bosher had been arrested on August 30, just six days prior, on charges of indecent exposure.
At this time, investigators believe the homicide did not occur at the discovery site. Mohave County Sheriff’s Detectives are working closely with LVMPD to piece together the circumstances surrounding Bosher’s death.
