On Tuesday (5/13), Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Detectives assisted the Mohave County Probation Department with the arrest of Steven Leslie Walters, 27 of Kingman. Walters had been observed using and possessing a cell phone, which was a violation of his probation. A search of the phone revealed child sexual abuse material on it.
Detectives obtained a search warrant, and a more detailed search was conducted of Walters’ phone and residence. During this search, over five hundred child sexual abuse video files and over six hundred photographs of child sexual abuse material were located. Walters was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility for ten counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, a class 2 felony.
