Structure Fire in the 5000 Block of Aztec Place – No Injuries, Quick Response Contained Flames

Structure Fire – 5000 Block of Aztec Place
April 8, 2025 | Approx. 16:40 Hours

At approximately 16:40 today, GSFD units E1211, WT1228, WT1218, M1211, and HR1217 responded to a reported structure fire in the 5000 block of Aztec Place. Full-time personnel, along with volunteer responders, arrived swiftly on scene.

Upon arrival, crews discovered a motor home and a food trailer fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters quickly took action, working efficiently to contain and extinguish the blaze. Thanks to the prompt and coordinated efforts of the responders, the fire was brought under control without any injuries or loss of surrounding structures.

A job well done by the GSFD and volunteers, demonstrating professionalism and teamwork in the face of a challenging situation.
