BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – December 12, 2024 – Bullhead City Police arrested Vanessa Marie Jacquez, 39, for assault and disorderly conduct, both per domestic violence, as well as aggravated assault with a deadly weapon against a peace officer resulting in serious physical injury, and aggravated assault against a peace officer.
On December 11 at about 8 p.m., Bullhead City Police responded to the 1900 block of Artesia Drive for a domestic violence report. A victim reported that his daughter was acting out of control and aggressive. When officers arrived, she was extremely uncooperative and combative. She reportedly punched one police officer and stabbed another police officer in his thigh with a knife.
The officer who was stabbed was transported to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center by ambulance. He received four stitches and was released from the hospital.
Vanessa Jacquez was booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
