HOMICIDE- KINGMAN
On July 25, 2024 at approximately 5:51 PM, a shooting occurred at a residence in the 4200 block of Bond St. in Kingman. Shawn Putnam (64 of Kingman) was shot at his residence. At the time of the shooting, his son, Patrick Putnam (40 of Kingman), stated he was working on a rifle in the living room when it discharged. Patrick contacted 9-1-1 immediately after the shooting and Shawn Putnam was transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. Detectives responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. The case will be sent to the Mohave County Attorney’s Office for review of possible criminal charges related to the incident.
