Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, with assistance from the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) Aviation Unit, have arrested a wanted fugitive in Yucca.
Cory Anthony Klingelhoets, 34, of Minnesota, was taken into custody on a parole violation warrant out of Minnesota. On March 13, Deputies were contacted by investigators with the Minnesota Department of Corrections Fugitive Apprehension Unit regarding a nationwide extradition warrant. Authorities believed Klingelhoets was staying at a remote property in the Yucca area.
During the investigation, Deputies learned Klingelhoets frequently traveled the area on a motorcycle, prompting an attempt-to-locate (ATL) to be issued to local law enforcement.
On Monday (3/23), Deputies, along with a DPS helicopter, responded to a property near Ruby Rd. and Lorton Rd., where Klingelhoets was located living in a trailer. He was taken into custody without incident.
Klingelhoets was transported to the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility in Kingman, where he will remain pending extradition back to Minnesota.
