BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – October 6, 2025 – Bullhead City Police arrested Kyndilun Danielle Mayweather Sooten, 30, on charges of aggravated assault and kidnapping following an incident Sunday afternoon at Rotary Park, located at 2315 Balboa Drive.

On October 5, around 3:40 p.m., officers responded to a report of a missing child. The child’s mother told police her 5-year-old daughter had been missing for about an hour. Before officers arrived, the mother located her daughter inside a park restroom with Mayweather Sooten.

According to the report, Mayweather Sooten was holding the child and had her hand covering the victim’s mouth to prevent her from calling for help or escaping.

Police say Mayweather Sooten, a transient known from previous encounters in city parks, claimed she was only trying to help the child find her parents. No injuries were reported.

Mayweather Sooten was taken into custody and booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
