On Monday, September 29, 2025, the Kingman Police Department arrested Mathew Wilson Faumuina, 35, of Kingman, following an ongoing drug investigation. Faumuina faces multiple felony charges, including:
- Possession of Dangerous Drugs for Sale
- Possession of Narcotic Drugs for Sale (2 counts)
- Possession of Marijuana for Sale
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Misconduct Involving Weapons (2 counts)
- Fraud Schemes and Practices
The arrest came after KPD Street Crimes Detectives executed a search warrant at Faumuina’s residence in the 400 block of Wilshire Avenue. During the search, detectives seized:
- 2 firearms
- Over $1,000 in cash
- 2 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms
- 16 grams of fentanyl powder
- 14 pounds of marijuana
- 5 ounces of marijuana wax
- 40 pre-filled marijuana vape pens
Investigators also discovered that Faumuina had been accepting Arizona EBT cards in exchange for drugs.
Faumuina admitted involvement in the offenses and was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility.
