Thanks to tips from the community, the Bullhead City Police Department has arrested a suspect believed to be responsible for a recent string of business burglaries.
Detectives identified Gary Don Halstead, 48, of Golden Valley, AZ, after sharing surveillance photos and asking for the public’s help.
📌 September 13, ~3:40 p.m. – An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle matching the burglary suspect’s description in the 2100 block of Highway 95. Halstead was taken into custody, questioned, and later booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman on multiple counts of criminal damage and burglary.
Over a five-day span last week, officers responded to 10 reports of business burglaries and criminal damage. Three incidents involved forced entry and theft of cash bags, with losses estimated at nearly $10,000.
The Bullhead City Police Department thanks Mohave Silent Witness and community members whose information helped solve these cases. Detectives believe additional individuals may also be involved — the investigation is ongoing.
