On August 11 at 7:30 a.m., the Bullhead City Police Department’s MAGNET (Mohave Area General Narcotic Enforcement Team) Detectives, with assistance from the SWAT team, executed a narcotics search warrant in the 1300 block of Palma Plaza. The operation resulted in seven arrests following an investigation into suspected drug and criminal activity at the residence. Police had also received multiple complaints about the property.
During the search, detectives seized methamphetamine, fentanyl pills, a small amount of psilocybin mushrooms, and numerous drug paraphernalia items. Many of these dangerous substances were found within reach of an 8-year-old special needs child in the home.
Arrests and Charges:
Ashley Anne Skinner, 45, and Christopher Philip Kassing, 48 – Possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia; both also charged with child abuse. Justin Todd Maxwell, 44 – Possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia; also arrested for a failure to appear warrant out of Bullhead City Municipal Court. Lanie Leann Grant, 24, and James Martin Ferguson, 65 – Possession of narcotic drugs and drug paraphernalia. David Justin Papineau, 38 – Possession of drug paraphernalia (cited and released from the police station). Lindsay Rae Mazanowski, 44 – Arrested on a post-adjudication warrant from Kingman Justice Court. Lanie Leann Grant – Also had a drug paraphernalia warrant from Bullhead City Justice Court.
All other suspects were booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
