On April 30th, 2025, at approximately 1:12 PM, Deputies with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 3700 block of N. Bosque Rd. (Golden Valley) in reference to a subject that had been shot.
Upon arrival, Deputies observed a female that had a gunshot wound, the female had succumbed to her injury and was pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives arrived on scene and assumed the investigation.
During the course of the investigation, the suspect in the shooting was identified as Jeremy Muse (36 of Kingman). Muse was also wanted in connection with an earlier shooting that was being investigated by the Kingman Police Department.
At approximately 5:05 PM, Muse’s vehicle was located in the area of Highway 66 and Mohave Airport Dr. A traffic stop on the vehicle was attempted, however the vehicle fled. Officers from the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Arizona Department of Public Safety Ranger helicopter, Kingman Police Department, and the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office pursued the vehicle. During the pursuit the driver of the vehicle, later identified as Jeremy Muse, began firing at pursuing officers, striking at least one patrol vehicle. The vehicle was pursued into Kingman and ultimately crashed into a vehicle at the intersections of Airway Ave./Willow and Harrison St. Muse exited his vehicle, and gunfire was exchanged between Muse and the officers. Muse was struck, ending the gunfire. Muse was taken into custody and Arizona Department of Public Safety helicopter landed and began rendering medical aid to Muse. Medical personnel with the Kingman Fire Department and River Medical Ambulance also responded to the scene.
Muse was transported to the Kingman Regional Medical Center and later airlifted to a Las Vegas hospital where he is currently listed in critical condition.
The investigation for the collision and officer involved shooting is being handled by the Arizona Department of Public Safety Major Incident Division.
