On Thursday (2/20) at approximately 5:30 PM, Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Detectives responded to a residence in the 13000 block of Joshua Dr. in Dolan Springs at the request of Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Our agency was notified that a suspect wanted for homicide out of their jurisdiction was potentially hiding out at the residence. Detectives responded to the residence and attempted to make contact with the suspect, who refused to exit the property.
SWAT was activated and responded to the residence. Once on scene, SWAT cleared the property, and the suspect was taken into custody without incident. No injuries were reported during this incident. Assistance was provided by Department of Public Safety Ranger helicopter.
