Bullhead City Animal Care and Welfare (ACW) officers are looking for a dog for standard quarantine procedures after a dog bite.

BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. –Bullhead City Animal Care and Welfare (ACW) officers are looking for a dog for standard quarantine procedures after a dog bite.  

     On Sunday, February 25th, ACW was dispatched toValley View Medical Center where a 14-year-old female was being treated for bite on her arm. The victim reported that she was at the beach area at Rotary Park (near the skate park) at approximately 4:30 p.m. The girl went to approach the dog because it appeared to be friendly, and it lunged at her. The dog is described as medium sized black Pitbull type.

    ACW patrolled the area but have not located the dog. If anyone has any information, please call the non-emergency dispatch number at (928) 763-1999, reference report# 24-06222.
