MISSING PERSON: DEREK BOWLING, LAST HEARD FROM NEAR LAKE HAVASU CITY, ARIZONA
The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue is requesting public assistance in locating Derek Bowling, a 27-year-old male who has gone missing. He was last known to be in Lake Havasu City gathering supplies yesterday (1/22) for a week-long hike heading east of Havasu and then towards Kingman, through remote desert and mountain areas – estimated at a 200-mile hike. He is an avid, experienced hiker, but is overdue contacting his family. He is 5-foot 7-inches tall, about 161 pounds, has long brown hair, blue eyes and it is unknown what clothing he may be wearing. These pictures include his backpack, tent and other gear he may be carrying with him.
