OFFICER-INVOLVED SHOOTING REPORTED IN BULLHEAD CITY

BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – February 14, 2026 – The Bullhead City Police Department is investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred late Saturday night.

At approximately 11:23 p.m. on February 14, dispatch received a 911 call from the 2900 block of Camino Del Rio Drive. The caller reported being flagged down by a man who allegedly admitted to burglarizing a residence and stated he was armed with a knife.

Officers responded to the area and located the suspect. A brief foot pursuit followed, during which an officer-involved shooting occurred.

The suspect was transported by ground ambulance to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center in Bullhead City and was later airlifted to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. No other injuries were reported.

In accordance with standard protocol for officer-involved shootings, the involved officer has been placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation. An outside agency is conducting the investigation. Further updates will be released by the Lake Havasu City Police Department as additional information becomes available.
