The Bullhead City Police Department arrested three women following traffic stops that led to the seizure of approximately four pounds of methamphetamine.
Police received information that a vehicle traveling from Las Vegas, NV to Bullhead City was transporting a large quantity of methamphetamine. Officers later learned two vehicles were traveling together.
On October 30 around 10:20 p.m., officers with the Bullhead City Police Department’s COPS Unit conducted traffic stops on a Chevrolet Silverado and a BMW in the 1700 block of Highway 95 after observing traffic violations.
A Lake Havasu City Police K-9 named Echo responded to assist and alerted to the presence of narcotics in both vehicles. A search revealed several baggies of methamphetamine totaling approximately four pounds, with an estimated street value of $36,000, along with drug paraphernalia.
Arrested were:
Dara Sue Tristan, 46, of Fort Mohave (driver of the BMW) April Nicole Jacobs, 38, of Dolan Springs (driver of the Chevrolet Silverado) Holly Armada Haworth, 45, of Fort Mohave (passenger in the Chevrolet Silverado)
All three suspects were arrested for transportation of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
They were booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
