VALLE VISTA, Ariz. – October 25, 2025
Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested 19-year-old Lajontay Alvirez of Valle Vista for five counts of Driving Under the Influence after a vehicle crashed into a home Saturday night.

Deputies responded to the 7600 block of Concho Drive around 10 p.m. for reports of a red truck that had driven through the front wall of a residence. The driver, identified as Alvirez, and a male passenger were located inside the vehicle and evaluated by medical personnel.

Thankfully, no one was inside the home at the time of the collision.

During the investigation, deputies detected a strong odor of alcohol and located an open bottle of liquor in the truck. Alvirez reportedly became belligerent with deputies and was detained.

After being cleared by medical staff, Alvirez submitted to a blood alcohol test, which revealed a BAC of 0.267% — more than three times the legal limit.

He was arrested and booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility on multiple DUI charges.
