Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call of domestic violence in progress in the 1700 Block of
La Entrada Dr, Fort Mohave, AZ at approximately 11:15 AM on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. Upon their
arrival it was learned that the victim had suffered a stab wound to the neck and the suspect was inside the
residence with their 8-month-old child in common. The suspect, later identified as WESLEY MILLICAN, (40
yrs, Ft. Mohave, AZ) was in communications with the Sheriff’s Office and had barricaded himself inside the
residence. Multiple law enforcement agencies to include Mohave County SWAT, Bullhead City SWAT, Ft.
Mohave Tribal, Arizona State Highway Patrol, Bullhead City Fire Department, Mohave Valley Fire
Department as well as Fort Mohave Fire responded to the scene to assist. MILLICAN eventually exited the
residence and was taken into custody. The child was unharmed in the altercation and the female victim was
transported to Valley View Medical Center and later transported to Sunrise Hospital for treatment of her
injuries. MILLICAN was treated at Valle View Medical Center for the self-inflicted injuries suffered upon
entering the residence and then transported to Mohave County Adult Detention Facility being charged with
attempt to commit homicide, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence and
endangerment (all felony charges).
