Dog Bite Incident – Public’s Help Needed Sept 24th

Bullhead City Animal Enforcement officers are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a dog and its owner involved in a recent dog bite incident.

At approximately 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24, officers responded to Exceptional Healthcare, where a 71-year-old man was being treated for dog bite injuries. The victim reported he was walking near Canyon Road and Mountain Pass when an unleashed dog ran up and bit him on both legs and his hand.

Dog Description:

Medium-sized

Greyish-brown and white

Long snout

Not on a leash

Owner Description:

Woman, approximately 70 years old

Wearing a dress

Carrying a small white dog

Despite searching the area, Animal Enforcement officers have not yet located the dog or its owner. The dog must be found for standard quarantine procedures.
