On Thursday, July 24, 2025, at approximately 10:03 PM, Bullhead City Police and Fire were dispatched to a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Highway 95, just north of Seventh Street.
Responding units located a 43-year-old male pedestrian from Bullhead City unresponsive in the roadway. He sustained major injuries and was transported to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center, then airlifted to University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The investigation revealed the pedestrian was crossing Highway 95 outside of a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a 2018 Nissan Sentra driven by 78-year-old Mary Ann Stuchal of Bullhead City. The driver stopped immediately, remained on scene, and cooperated fully with investigators.
A Drug Recognition Expert evaluated the driver at the scene and determined impairment was not a factor. Video surveillance also confirmed that speed did not contribute to the collision.
The investigation remains ongoing.
