On Monday (6/9), the US Marshals Office requested assistance from Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Detectives in reference to two suspects wanted out of Fontana, California for a Homicide that occurred on or about June 6th. During the investigation, it was believed that the two suspects had fled to the far north area of Golden Valley off Cottonwood Rd. and Highway 93.
Detectives were assisted by the Bullhead City Police Department SWAT team, Arizona Department of Public Safety Troopers, and Arizona Department of Public Safety helicopter. The suspects were located traveling in a stolen vehicle in the Dolan Springs area and were followed into Golden Valley, where they ultimately surrendered and were taken into custody without incident.
Jonathan Raymon Mota, 42 of Fontana, CA, was booked on a felony warrant out of California for Homicide.
Karina Rivera-Valles, 34 of Fontana, CA, was booked on a felony warrant out of California for Accessory to Homicide.
