On Tuesday, February 10, at approximately 2:26 PM, the Bullhead City Fire Department responded to a reported fire in a trash compactor in the 1600 block of Highway 95 at Lowe’s.
When crews arrived on scene, smoke was visible coming from the compactor. Firefighters acted quickly to contain the situation and successfully brought the fire under control.

On Monday, February 9, 2026, during the early morning hours, the Bullhead City Police Department attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation; however, the driver refused to stop.
The vehicle allegedly reached speeds of approximately 100 mph while traveling through residential neighborhoods. The driver failed to stop at stop signs near the intersection of Ramar Road and River Gardens, continued onto Riverfront Drive, and then proceeded east on Hancock Road.
The pursuit ended in the 1700 block of Lakeside Drive in the parking lot of Smith’s Grocery Store, where the vehicle came to a stop. Two suspects were taken into custody.

BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – On February 4, 2025, at 2 p.m., the Bullhead City Police Department COPS unit and MAGNET (Mohave Area General Narcotic Enforcement Team) Detectives conducted a traffic stop in the area of Optimum Way and Third Street. Detectives had information that Frank Terriquez Jr., 33, was transporting and selling drugs in the Bullhead City and Laughlin, NV area.
During the traffic stop, Terriquez, who is a prohibited possessor, was found in possession of a 12-gauge shotgun. A subsequent search of Terriquez’s vehicle was conducted. Detectives located 25 baggies of cocaine, weighing a total of approximately 37.5 grams, one small baggie containing a useable amount of powdered Fentanyl, and a large amount of cash in multiple denominations.
Detectives then served a search warrant at Terriquez’s apartment in the 400 block of Lee Avenue, where additional drug paraphernalia items consistent in the sale and packaging of illegal drugs were located, including digital scales and multiple brand-new zip-top baggies.

Frank Terriquez was arrested for possession of narcotic drugs for sale, misconduct involving a weapon (prohibited possessor) and misconduct involving a weapon (drug offense). He was booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
Club House Dr between Highway 95 and Bryan Dr and the Entrance to East Shore Villas will be closed tonight, February 19, from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. ECC will be installing high-speed fiber for TWN Communications and Mohave Electric Cooperative. East Shore Villas Residents will still have access to the neighborhood. Traffic will be detoured around Club House Dr.
Bullhead City, Ariz— 2/18: The Bullhead City Fire Department responded swiftly to a vehicle and boat fire around 7:15 PM on Tuesday, February 18th, in the 1800 block of Surf and Sand.
The homeowner shared that earlier in the day, he had been triple-charging a battery. Later that evening, while inside his home with his wife, they heard a loud noise. When they opened the front door, they were shocked to find both the vehicle and boat fully engulfed in flames.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.
