Animal Enforcement Seeking Dog After Bite Incident

BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – Bullhead City Animal Enforcement officers are working to locate a dog and its owner for standard quarantine procedures following a recent dog bite incident.

On Sunday, February 1, at approximately 6 p.m., officers responded to the 1600 block of Havasupai Drive. A 62-year-old woman reported she was walking her dog in an empty lot near her apartment complex when an unfamiliar dog approached and attempted to attack her pet. While trying to protect her dog, she was bitten on the leg. The dog fled back toward the apartment complex.

The dog is described as a medium-sized tan Shepherd mix with black coloring on its face.

Officers searched the area but have not yet located the dog or its owner.
