Bullhead City, AZ – On Saturday, July 5, 2025, at approximately 4:15 p.m., emergency crews responded to the 1200 block of Riverfront Drive following a report of a missing man in the Colorado River.
Witnesses stated the man had entered the water to retrieve a hat but failed to resurface. Bullhead City Police, along with multiple partner agencies, launched an extensive search utilizing dive teams, air support, and water and land units. The search efforts continued into the evening and resumed the following morning.
On Monday, July 7, around 9:30 a.m., authorities were called to the 800 block of Riverfront Drive for a report of a deceased body in the water. The victim was identified as 48-year-old Manuel Guillermo Segura of Covina, California — the same man reported missing two days prior.
The incident appears to be an accidental drowning. No foul play is suspected.
